In a previous post, I talked about a way to increase your Google Adsense CTR. In a nutshell, I talked about how placing images near Adsense ad blocks can help increase its visibility, and thus reducing “ad-blindness”.

However, we faced some issues with the Adsense policy, specifically, the issue on whether images are allowed to be placed near Google ads. I’ve recently contacted Google and inquired them on this matter. I discussed about their reply in this post and this post. Basically, what they said in their reply was the pictures should not “appear to be associated with the advertisers and their products/services”.

Google has finally decided to shed some light on this issue, which they have previously said the issue was on a “case to case” basis.
